Tideline Partners Brokers $8.75 Million St. Louis Radio Transaction
Tideline Partners, LLC served as broker on an $8.75 million radio station acquisition in St. Louis involving Gateway Creative Broadcasting. Gateway completed the purchase of variety station KDHX (88.1) from Double Helix following Double Helix’s bankruptcy. As part of the transaction, the station has adopted new call letters, KLJT.
Gateway Creative Broadcasting, which is based in St. Louis, operates Christian contemporary and Christian CHR radio stations, including Joy FM 99.1 (KLJY) and Boost Radio 95.5 (KXBS). Following the acquisition, Gateway transitioned KLJT to a simulcast of rhythmic AC “95.5 Jams,” which airs on the HD2 channel of KXBS.
The sale also included provisions allowing KDHX to continue airing its community-focused format on an HD2 channel. In addition, a new online version of KDHX is scheduled to launch in December.
The transaction was brokered by Greg Guy of Tideline Partners.
