Greg Guy serves as the Founder and Managing Partner of Tideline Partners, LLC, a media investment banking and brokerage firm that also provides management consulting services. Tideline Partners was established in 2023 and is based in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Tideline was formed to provide a client-focused resource for broadcasters in the current transaction market where technology and the traditional broadcast media intersect.

Before founding Tideline, Mr. Guy spent approximately twenty-five years in various roles at Patrick Communications, LLC. Mr. Guy joined Patrick Communications in 1999 as the Director of Research and Marketing also holding the position of Vice President and eventually Managing Partner.

Mr. Guy has consulted hundreds of broadcast clients and has personally brokered over three hundred radio and television transactions over the past twenty-five years valued well in excess of two billion dollars. He has sold television stations in all types of markets helping broadcasters maximize value based on each individual situation. His radio experience is equally as broad, negotiating transactions ranging from “stick” sales in the largest markets to non-commercial licenses to commercial clusters in unrated markets. This broad spectrum of experience helped Patrick Communications to be consistently recognized as among the top three radio and television brokers over the past fifteen years. Recently Mr. Guy was named as one of the “Top Ten Media Brokers” by Radio & Television Business Report.

Mr. Guy has also conducted broadcast station valuations for banks, broadcasters and investors in excess of $3 Billion as well as serving as a strategic consultant for broadcasters in their efforts to maximize the value of their assets through upgrades and operational improvements. This included extensive work on the broadcast television spectrum auction brokering over twenty-five spectrum transactions, multiple channel-sharing agreements and helping numerous broadcast television clients maximize their spectrum value.

Before joining Patrick Communications, Mr. Guy worked at the National Association of Broadcasters as a Research Analyst. In this role he was responsible for conducting extensive research on various broadcast issues including station valuations, digital must carry as well as various Arbitron and Nielsen related issues.

Mr. Guy holds a B.S.C. in communications from Ohio University (1997); a M.S. in Communications from Ohio University (1999). He has authored numerous journal articles and is a regular speaker at both corporate meetings and state media association conventions. He is a member of the National Association of Media Brokers (NAMB) and active in the National Association of Broadcasters Political Action Committee (NABPAC) as well as several state broadcasting associations. In 2013 Mr. Guy was elected Treasurer of the NAMB and served two terms. Subsequently in 2024, Mr. Guy was elected Vice President of the NAMB. He is married to Heather Guy and has three children.
