Adell Media is placing news/talk “910 AM Superstation” WFDF Detroit on the market as company owner Kevin Adell plans his retirement after more than four decades in the radio and TV business.

Adell has hired Tideline Partners to broker the sale of WFDF, WADL-TV, and the religious broadcast network The Word, according to The Desk. Several offers of interest from individuals and companies have been received, Adell said, adding that he plans to sell the assets separately.

Adell Media relaunched WFDF as a conservative talk outlet in September 2023, after dropping brokered talk, followed by a short stint of carrying ESPN Radio programming.

A proposed $75 million sale of WADL-TV to Mission Broadcasting recently fell through after the FCC received objections claiming the transaction would substantially benefit Nexstar Media Group, which has a shared service agreement with Mission. The FCC approved the sale in April under certain conditions, however, Mission dropped out of the deal a month after the decision, The Desk reports.
