Tideline Partners, led by Gregory Guy, played a central role in a significant multi-station transaction reshaping the Dallas-Fort Worth radio market. Acting as exclusive broker, Guy represented Encouragement Media Group in the acquisition of 94.5 KZMJ-FM, a move that positions the station as a cornerstone for future growth across North Texas.

The transaction is part of a broader strategic shift involving Urban One, which is expanding its footprint in Dallas through the acquisition of Service Broadcasting Group’s KKDA and KRNB stations. At the same time, Urban One is divesting KZMJ-FM to Fuzion Dallas, LLC, the organization behind the Fuzión Spanish-language Christian format.

For Encouragement Media Group, the addition of KZMJ-FM marks a major milestone. The station’s 100,000-watt signal delivers full-market coverage across Dallas-Fort Worth and extends throughout North Texas, reaching an estimated 2.5 million Hispanic listeners. With this reach, KZMJ is set to become the flagship signal for the Fuzión network, which already operates across multiple markets in the Southwest, including Las Vegas, Southern California, Albuquerque, and East Texas.

Greg Guy’s involvement as exclusive broker was instrumental in guiding the transaction from negotiation to agreement. His representation ensured alignment between the parties while helping facilitate a deal that supports both expansion and repositioning strategies within the market.

Urban One leadership noted that the overall transaction supports its long-term direction of strengthening operations in high-growth regions while enhancing its ability to serve both audiences and advertisers. At the same time, Encouragement Media Group sees Dallas-Fort Worth as a key hub for Spanish-language broadcasting, with leadership highlighting the opportunity to connect with and serve a large and influential Hispanic community.

Both transactions are currently pending FCC approval. Financial terms have not been publicly disclosed.
